The photograph is of the stage from upstairs at The Little Bear saloon, many top stars have graced this stage, from Willy Nelson to Mitch Ryder to Bo Diddly. Leon Russell, The Platters, Richie Havens and famous local bands as Chris Daniels and The Kings and Tiny barge and The Big Chill have played many hours here. The Little Bear saloon is a beautiful hidden gem in the Front range foothills.
On rowdy nights, and rumor has it that there were many, if a woman was persuaded to remove her bra and leave it hanging, she received a free Little Bear T-shirt. I can add here that all of my T Shirts were purchased!

Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight. A self taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by studying privately for 14 years. A realist in the medium oil, her subject matter has varied throughout the years.
