Description
This Image placed 2nd in PHILANTHROPIC ARTISTS FOR A CAUSE GROUP LOGO CONTEST! July 2019.
"Man's best friend" is a common phrase about domestic dogs, referring to their millennia-long history of close relations, loyalty, and companionship with humans. The first recorded use of a related phrase is by Frederick the Great of Prussia.
This image was captured on a warm Summer day in Delta, Colorado.
This man's dog had been injured from a stray dog attack, his fingers were broken(you can see the bandage on his hand)and his dog almost did not make it and was unable to walk.
Being homeless, our Church sheltered him and his dog until they were able to find suitable housing. The Poodle behind the fence looks like he wanted to hitch a ride!
