Taken at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado. Flash Cadillac was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and I was honored to be the Event Photographer. The Astronaut's as well as Sugarloaf were also inducted that evening. All these groups are comprised of guys who were all Students at Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado.
Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, now known as Flash Cadillac, are an American retro rock 'n' roll band. They are best known for their portrayal of the group Herbie and the Heartbeats in the film American Graffiti, to which they contributed three songs: cover versions of "At the Hop" and "Louie, Louie", and the original composition "She's So Fine".
The band began in 1969 in Boulder, Colorado at the University of Colorado with Kris Moe as the keyboardist, Linn Phillips guitar, Warren Knight on bass, Harold Fielden on drums and Mick "Flash" Manresa as front man and guitar. The band got its name, "Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids" f...
About Janice Pariza
Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight. A self taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by studying privately for 14 years. A realist in the medium oil, her subject matter has varied throughout the years. She has expanded into the realm of the Abstract and Impressionism. Extensive travel in the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean is reflected in her paintings and photography. ***15% of all proceeds are donated to the ASPCA.
