This is an original Acrylic, painted at a street festival in Montrose, Colorado, way before my Art 'company' had a name, I had just returned from a trip to Yellowstone NP, outside of Cody, WY is a wonderful place, small gift shop and restaurant. The name of the Restaurant was 'Crazy Woman Eats'...the breakfast was delicious, on my way out, I purchased a T-Shirt...wait! I have a story! While participating in the Pleun Air Street Festival and my thoughts on the street and how to or what to paint, a fierce wind blew my paint saturated canvas up onto me...it 'ruined' what I was painting, alas, I saw a horse tied up and not happy about it, being tied up, and the wind. Thuse the name of my Painting....but there's more...I was a mess! What shirt did I have in my car? My 'Crazy Woman' T-Shirt!! I put it on.
Everyone that walked by commented on what a clever name I had, and I won 3rd place!
How about that!?? LOL

'SO... What is your favorite “out of the box” Artistic TOOL? Or PROCESS?

For example: I have painted with sticks, sponges, my fingers and finger nails, crumpled paper or cloth rags! Absent available paint supplies, I’ve painted with tea, mud, coffee, old makeup, diluted Housepaint! I have smudged, scumbled, scraped, poured, stamped with handmade textural improvisations then blended out what didn’t work! I have had a plein air painting or two unexpectedly wind blown and have purposely damaged other areas of the painting or changed the intended composition to compensate...etc.!
I have been known to say: “No problem, I’ve got a million of them!”

PLEASE SUBMIT TWO (2) of your “Out of the Box” works ...WITH THEIR STORY in the DESCRIPTION! Paintings with NO STORY will be ELIMINATED!'
