Artist's Description
I took this image on a Friday, it was a glorious day, we came upon this woman who looked liked my best friend's Sister, Dana Jean. Dana Jean fought a long, hard battle against Cancer and died at the early age of 56. She passed away this very Friday...I was not aware of her passing when I captured this image in Western Colorado, but this woman looked eerily like Dana. Thus my title for this image. 15% of all proceeds from a sale of this image will be donated to the ASPCA to reflect Dana's love of Animals. Dana had a heart for both children and animals. She was always there to help those less fortunate.

Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight. A self taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by studying privately for 14 years. A realist in the medium oil, her subject matter has varied throughout the years. She has expanded into the realm of the Abstract and Impressionism.
