This wildlife photograph was taken outside of Durango and Silverton on the Million Dollar Highway, Highway 550, Red Mountain Pass and Summit area.
The Million Dollar Highway is on Colorado's Western Slope and in The San Juan National Forest, connecting you to SW Colorado.
